Managing Director of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company Alireza Gharibi has said the construction of a 48-inch pipeline to import Turkmen gas to Iran is underway between Sarakhs and Sangbast (2nd phase) which extends from Shahid Hashemi-Nejad Refinery up to Mashad on a length of 120 km.

According to a report published by the Public Relations Department of Gas Engineering and Development Company, quoting Engineer Gharibi, the managing director of the company, Khavaran Gas Pressure Installations Project has become operational.
